

Next Steps
The site is in a sustainable location at the edge of Great Park, a vibrant mixed-use neighbourhood.
The proposal will bring a vacant and inaccessible brownfield site back into use and create up to 400 high-quality homes within Newcastle, at least 75% of which will include family homes.
After considering the comments received during this consultation, the next steps will be:

The comments received during this consultation will be used to help finalise our proposal in the lead up to submission to Newcastle City Council.
The closing date for comments and questions is 24 April 2026.
Please note that comments will not be responded to on an individual basis. An analysis of the feedback received and any changes to the scheme will be reported in a Statement of Community Involvement submitted as part of the planning application.
Newcastle City Council will undertake its own, independent consultation as part of the planning application process.
